A Michelin Star Night at Hacienda Solana

On April 18, 2026, Culinary Travels Worldwide hosted an unforgettable evening in the heart of Tucson, Arizona—bringing together world-class culinary talent, community leaders, and local partners for a one-of-a-kind dining experience at Hacienda Solana.


Set against the warm desert backdrop, the evening was more than a dinner—it was a celebration of culture, craftsmanship, and connection through food.

Hosted by Jennifer Davis-Paige, the evening featured an extraordinary lineup of talent, including:

  • Chef Christian Hunter, a Michelin-recognized chef and one of only ten Black Michelin-recognized chefs in the world

We were honored to welcome Mayor Regina Romero of Tucson, whose presence and support highlighted the importance of Tucson’s designation as a UNESCO City of Gastronomy.

Guests were treated to a thoughtfully curated multi-course menu that showcased creativity, technique, and regional inspiration.

  • Herb & Hay Smoked Oyster with pea guacamole and smoked tomato coulis

  • Sonoran Beef Tartare Tostada with cholla bud & nopales salad and pepita pecan chiltepin salsa

  • Gulf Coast Grouper with shrimp étouffée, purple corn grits, and charred fennel aioli

  • Ancho Agave Pork Duo with spring vegetable ragout and agave elixir

  • Butternut Squash & Sweet Potato Parfait with poached prickly pear coulis and date crumb



Each course told a story—combining bold flavors with refined presentation.
